During the last Glacial Period, a family of sharp minded belugas left the North and
went on a vacation to the Saguenay fjord in Quebec, Canada.
Unfortunately, they missed the boat back home.
And got stuck.
They are still there, a few descendants… happily swimming in a tiny gene pool.
They’re not doing so great.
Please help.
60% of the project benefits will be donated to GREMM, the Group for Research and Education on Marine Mammals.
Founded in 1985 and based in Tadoussac, Quebec, GREMM is a non-profit organization dedicated to scientific research on the whales of the St. Lawrence and to the education for the sake of marine conservation.
By the way, Tadoussac is one of the best places in the world for whale watching.
